Instagram Highlights Viewer

Open the highlights on any public Instagram profile, however old they are, without an account and without appearing in anyone's viewer list.

What highlights are

Highlights are stories an account chose to keep. They sit in the row of circles under the bio, each with a title and a cover, and they stay there until the owner removes them.

Accounts use them as a permanent shelf: travel from a particular trip, answers to common questions, product details, tour dates. For many businesses, the highlights are the most useful part of the profile.

How to open them

  1. Find the account

Enter the username of the profile whose highlights you want, or paste a link to it.

  2. Load the highlights

Every highlight on the profile is listed with its cover and title, like the circles under an Instagram bio.

  3. Pick a highlight

Tap one to play its stories in order, the same way the app does.

Questions

Will the account see that I watched a highlight?

No. Instagram only shows who viewed a story for 48 hours after it was first posted, and views from this site are never on that list in the first place.

Why is a highlight missing or empty?

The owner may have removed it, or removed the stories inside it. Highlights can also include stories that were shared only with Close Friends, and those are left out.

Can I download highlights?

Yes. Each story in a highlight has a download button in the player, which saves it as an MP4 or JPG file.

How old can highlights be?

As old as the account. Highlights stay on the profile until the owner removes them, so some go back years.

Why do some highlight stories look blurry?

Older stories were often recorded or uploaded at a lower resolution. They're shown at the quality Instagram serves, which can't be improved afterward.

Can I watch highlights on a computer?

Yes. Any browser works. On a keyboard, the arrow keys move between stories and Escape closes the player.

Can I see a private account?

Only the parts Instagram shows publicly: the name, profile photo, bio and follower counts. Stories, highlights and posts on a private account are shown only to followers the owner approved, and no website can get around that.

Why private viewers don't work

Is there a limit?

Loading a profile or its stories for the first time costs us a request to Instagram, so each visitor can make a limited number of those per day. Anything someone looked up in the last few minutes, or a profile loaded in the last day, opens without counting.
